Howdy, Bent Fin,

Sure hope you can discover ways to fit more personal pleasure fishing time into your schedule. I can relate, on a small scale, to your present circumstance: for six years I worked weekends at a local bait, tackle and hunting supply shop. It was fun for quite a while, helping others succeed in the outdoors. But one day it hit me that I myself wasn’t going fishing or hunting anymore, and hadn’ t gone out for three or four years. Gak! :frowning:

Wouldn’t it be great if there was some sort of convention, rule or law that said guided clients must during each trip allow the guide at least an hour to himself or herself just for their own enjoyment? I think there’d be a lot more happy guides around, and clients would learn a lot just by watching the professional guide do his or her thing.
