Lefty's 6 flies...

I stumbled across this article

I found it kinda refreshing, hope you enjoy it.

Driftless Region double rig - pink squirrel (which may be a caddis, scud or egg) trailed by a San Juan worm.

As always, Lefty’s advise is timeless and 100% accurate. I’ve caught fish on a fast stripped woolly bugger during major hatches, right next to people who were telling me how SMART and difficult these particular fish are… as they got skunked.

It’s called “Matching the Hatch - Plan B”. Follow the link for another take on it - with no reference to any of Lefy’s flies.

John

Now back to your regularly scheduled discussion of Lefty’s preferred underwater stuff.

To fish such flies under the pretense of “Fly Fishing” is utter Blasphemy! Fishing…perhaps

merely plan B!

Steven,

Nice variation on Spaghetti and Meatballs.

Scott

as sarcasm does not transmit effectively through a discussion board, was that a joke? Or are you one of those “holier-than-thou” types? Just curious.
