Lawn Mower For Sale (not FF)

This ad appeared in the Klamath Falls Want Ads web page. It touched my funny bone.

Lawnmower. Need to fix the thing on top that the string winds around or else you have to keep winding it by hand, have to pull the cap off the spark plug to turn it off but other than those 2 things - it runs, it cuts and I guess that’s it’s job. $20 Call (541) — ----.

Only in Oregon…well maybe Ohio:rolleyes:

Looks like the O’s have it Duck!!

Sounds like a yellow citrus fruit to me! BTW, I strongly relate to that level of mechanical sophistication, in fact, the guy may be a couple of steps ahead of me. 8T

You mean everybody doesn’t pull the wire off the spark plug to turn off their mowers?

I’m from Kentucky and I thought they all came that way. $20 sounds a little steep for a lawn mower, the last one I had was free. Someone put it out for the garbage and it was perfectly good. Little rusty and needed a new bracket for the left side front wheel (coat hanger).

OK, that wasn’t my last mower but…

Hum, I have the same problem with my fly reels. Maybe I need one of those automatic string winder thing-a-ma jigs.:smiley:

Nothing like having a mower that gives milk.

Merely ONE, of my 47 assorted “Oregon Lawn Mowers”.

Now THAT’S a face only a Mother could love!! And I don’t mean only a goat mother … it’s a mother thing.

Cut and fertilize in one easy motion.

That’s one of them organic mulching mowers. I hear, according to the U.S. Government, that they are a source of green house gases. Like methane. Smell them “Country Roses”! PHEW!

I think Paul gets carbon credits:rolleyes:
