mash barb, start thread
clean, stack, measure (shank length) a clump of deer hair; trim, 2 soft loops around the butts, pull firm (maintain pinch to keep it from spinning)
pull wing back and set up with thread wraps in front
tie in shuck; fold, wrap to bend, trim (gap width)
