Ladyfisher's and Neil Travis' Articles Are A Must Read!

If you have not already done so, please read Ladyfisher’s and Neil Travis’ articles in the “New This Week” section. Outstanding! Both are extremely poignant and relevant. I was moved by each of these articles, and I greatly appreciate the authors’ touching remarks.

Think about what you have to be thankful for and take pause to thank our Heavenly Father for His many blessings. No matter what your circumstances are, if you would only look around, you will likely find others who are in a worse condition.

Happy Thanksgiving to all!

garyj147, well said… I read both, Neils first then LF’s… I agree folks, just read them…

Yes, both are very inspirational, especially in these difficult financial times. Thanks so much Ladyfisher and Neil!

Between all the snow we’ve had here and Deanna’s article, it made me recall my favorite Robert Frost poem.

Stopping By Woods On A Snowy Evening

Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.
My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.
He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound’s the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.
The woods are lovely, dark and deep.
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
