The Lady has been a symbol of freedom and opportunity for people around the world. I would have thought some of the news agencies would have seen fit to put a 125th on the front page of their broadcast or paper.
She welcomed my Great Grandparents from Sicily in 19 aught something. To think we originally didn’t want her. Shame on us. Hooray on us for saving her though!
And let’s not forget to send out a a big “Thank You!” to the French for this wonderful gift!
