My wife finally agreed to try wading last weekend for the first time. She still won’t take up the fly rod, but she really liked getting in there were the fish are. She would look really good in those waders. 
We had an email today from one of our members who asked if he could enter for his 15 year old daughter, or would she have to register. Yes, he can enter for her…and no, they don’t come in pink (or purple either.)
Can I get them in a hot pink with neon purple stripes… I think that would help me be visable at night :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

I entered this resolved to turn over the prize to my wife. Since I have read the posts here, I hd some second thoughts.
Does the outfit come with belts, or will we have to get a new ones?
We will have to buy a co-ordinated vest, right? Will we need more than one for each season?
2-3 cold weather tops, 2-3 cool weather tops, 2-3 average weather tops, … ?
2-3 jacket? Ditto Rain Jackets?
Hats, early spring cold, early spring cool, early spring hot, mid-spring cold … ?
Sunglasses … ?

You must admit, it would be quite the fashion statement!!
My wife has decided to take up fly fishing to spend a bit more quality outdoors time with yours truly. (why she wants to spend more time with me is whole different psychosis than the subject of this thread) Anyway, I ordered her a raspberry Elkhorn rod and reel (FAOL sponsor) trying to make her entry into the sport a bit “special.” She’s an artist, and things like cool colors and style and color coordination matter to her. But she’s not a girly-girl. So raspberry was better than pink.
Well, the rod and reel arrived a few days ago and I set the combo up for her and she wiggled it a bit in the living room of our loft. Her first outing is June 1st for a seminar with Dave and Emily Whitlock. She left later to do some grocery shopping. She returned with a bottle of nail polish in raspberry to match her new rod and reel! :lol:
This is going to be an interesting adventure! I never really considered nail polish as a fishing accessory. But women have a way of broadening our horizons.
I entered in my wife’s behalf as well. It would be a great way to get her more involved.
i wouldn’t have any probolom with that, becasue there are like mabie at the most, 10 of us :), or mabie, there could be one for 14 yearolds that have only been into thislifestyle for a less than a year, then i would have a pretty good chance 
Of course if a fellow were to enter and win, he could always donate it to Casting for Recovery or TU.
