Seriously I got my cat to stay off the desk by trimming some of his hair. It only took two times and he now avoids the tying desk like it is the plague.
Now the pieces I took were small and did get used. The wife didn?t notice the missing hair till I told her but the cat sure remembers.
Now my only problem is finding some dubbing to match the cat. That stuff worked great.
I did what another poster has already mentioned. I had my cat take a partridge skin of the desk while I was tying. I had to chase him down to get the skin back. I then used my beard trimmer to collect me some nice fine black dubbing from the cat. The wife did ask about the bald spot on the cat, but when I showed her what was left of the partridge skin, she laughed. Well if i leave the bag of cat dubbing on the desk, the cat will not go up there, even with a desk full of fresh skins to tempt him! Who says cats cant be trained!
Have fun, Jeff
Tis my time on the water, in the mountains, and in my driftboat where I can see things as they really are.
