after seeing and admiring the dual chest packs for awhile and almost getting a william joseph pack for 70 bux on ebay! I got outbidded at the last minute (I just can’t drop $130 on a pack) well I looked further than ebay and opted for a lesser named brand that had the same options as the william joseph minus the tippet dispenser. I picked up the watermark hydration chest pack for 50 bux plus free shipping. heres some pix and the specs. anyone have one? what are they like? also I have a 2 liter hydration bladder already that I will see if it fits in this one. if not I will get the 100 oz bladder they sell. even says from makers of william joseph but I had to highlight the page to copy it to see that? like its some secret message to me or something ? haha heres what it the description says. what ya think?

I got the pack in the mail today! this pack is awesome. it puts my vest to shame! I can fit 2 fly boxs in each front pouch plus some leaders and indicators and split shots. in the retractable zingers I put my forcepts which also go into a lil side pouch holder and my nippers. there are still 2 zingers left to use! I also put a knife and my floatant in the other tool holders. then the back pack has 3 compartments with dividers in um. one in the big compartment to hold a hydration pack. lots of place to adjust for size and it doesn’t seem to swing around and ride up while moving around. also don’t seem to be in the way of your arms as far as I can see? all in all I am very happy and can’t wait to use it! its way lighter and has better weight distribution than my vest did… I recommend this product. on thing tho? it say 2 built in floatant holders. can anyone point them out to me? could it be those rings torwards the top on each shoulder?
I had a watermark double chest pack, that wasn’t the hydration model, but nonetheless a double chest pack.
I liked it, It was nice quality (similar to WJ) and the whole shabang. I just found it was to easy for me to load it up with extra crap I didn’t need to take with me. So I sold it to another member on here and stayed with my small chest pack.
So I have a William Joseph Mini (the older version of the solo) that I really love. I take 1 medium fly box, tippet, forceps, nippers, floatant, hook hone and a camera with me on the water. It all fits perfectly and its just what I needed.
Heres some pics of the watermark I sold:
You should be very happy with your watermark pack. They are really nice and If you need to take the stuff (and the water) then they fit the bill perfectly.
thats a nice looking pack too. thanks for the feedback man. one question tho. it says 2 floatant holders in the description. where are they? are they the 2 rings up by your shoulders? (the bottle actually fits in it) I am confused on that. since I have 2 zingers left maybe I will get one of those floatant holders things? but if they 2 are already built in whats the point.
found that it depends what and where i am fishing and what the weather will be like-which i like best so i have both-same with my boots-i have diff.soles on my boots-for diff.fishing situations-rods-flies line wts.clothing-my cellar looks like a fly-shop-good thing is didnt buy it all at one time-71yrs.i have accumalated a lot of stuff??
I actually recently got one of those watermark packs as well. I thought it was ok and still use it on occasion but I feel like I have breasts when wearing it. I’ve gone back to my old hiking lumbar pack that has room for two large water bottles that I just keep going back to for some reason. I’ve also been trying to simplify things and having that watermark pack doesn’t really allow me to do so.
that said, it is a really nice pack…just not for me…
oh, one other thing, when I use it during the winter, I find that the pack area doesn’t really have enough room for my fleece jacket that I usually take in the event I get too wamr from hiking from spot to spot…
again me with the deals!!! get me away form the computer! lol. ok. on ebay I just got a brand new, with tags still on it , tan I think ?(says brown, but looks desert tan) under armour loose tactical shirt for summer fishing for 16 bux including ship (tags on it say 35 bux)!! I have the cold gear and swear by it. the heat gear has to be good also! will wear this for summer as it matches my new pack. just a lil nervous as now I see people complained of slow shipping. guess as long as I get it its all good. not getting hot anytime soon! just nervous as last month i got ripped on a item. got a full refund except the 7 bux to ship it back!!! rip off to me, could of bought a 12 pack! lol. guess its the chance you take for getting a great deal on prolly stolen goods haha.
