just one wall of hackle

One wall of hackle at the Campfire Lodge between the lakes…
Wrong photo…guess it’s part of two walls…

Is that Campfire Lodge?

Jim Slattery sure does have a nice selection of hackle. Reminds me that I really need to stop by one day. Almost a good enough excuse to go to MT by itself. In the meantime, you can of course visit virtually via http://www.jimsflyco.com/ – which I have…many, many times…

Bought a few back in July, also had 5 wonderful breakfasts too. The only thing he didn’t have is a light dun saddle. One other thing Byron isn’t showing the best wall either.

Another wall…

My grandson and I stayed there for a couple days at the beginning of the summer, and fished Quake Lake.

If the walls of hackle and the nearby fishing aren’t enough to convince you to make the trip, the breakfasts they serve there are simply the best found anywhere, in my opinion.

There you go, I knew you had one more pic Byron. Funny watching people when they get there 3 pancakes, 1 is more than enough.

Whooooooo…there must be lots of fly tiers down there! Sure would be nice to even see a wall like that in person, for any fly shop that you could find here in Canada would be few and very far between, but seeing a wall full of capes and saddles…what a treat! Thanks for that pic…
