Hey Chris,
I see by your post that " stuff" gets to Canada with a certain lag time. We here in the states have been laughing at “that” one for about two years now.
Yes, it was worth re-enjoying though.
This one is actually from here, … just keeps me on an even keel

Chris;
Last winter my neighbors across the road logged some 300+ acres and now we have a bear getting into the trash and bird feeders!
We’ve also lost a pair of Eagles that must have been nesting there. From my front yard you cannot tell that they cut a tree!! I like that but, what about the Eagles? And, the bear worries me a bit!
I feel more like I do now than I did when I got here!
As you can see in the photo, … cubs can get into ANYTHING! They can squeeze in through the smallest holes too.
Adults get dicey when they get too “friendly”.
Keep the yard clean, you can make a cage/enclosure (or a thingamagig )for the garbage cans. Once they find there are no free snack,… maybe they’ll go foraging elsewhere.
If not, … you’ll have to call animal control or the wildlife service so they can trap it and (hopefully) relocate it.
