Does anyone know where on the bird I can find the long hackle feathers with black centres fading to orange to white tips? I am not familiar with the actual bird so I don’t know what I should be searching for ie cape, saddle, ect. I want the feathers for palmering salmon and steelhead flies, and for full feather wings.
Also if anyone knows of a good substitue for jungle the jungle c0ck I am open to sugestions. I know there is some good furnace hackle out there, but I havent been able to find the nice orange color that I have seen with the Jungle c0ck flies. If anyone knows a breeder that I could contact that would be excellent. Thank you to anyone that can help.
