I think I’m up this month.

The theme for June will be baitfish patterns. Any style or size as long as it represents some kind of baitfish, fresh or saltwater.

Since there seems to be some confusion as to who all is still with us, please RSVP ASAP. Anyone I don’t hear from within 1 week will loose their spot, and I will open it up to new tyers.

Standard rules apply, return envelope, postage, and toe tags, etc… Try to have the flies here by June 30th.

Was going thru some of My books and found this “Older” fly that looked intresting.

Not sure which Wednesday but I would like to participate. I’ll do a Thunder Creek deer hair Emerald Shiner. (Sorry about being late last month, flies in the mail tomorrow (6/7)).

They don’t have to be ready, now. I just needed to hear from everyone who still wants to swap, so I can open up the empty spots to new people, and we can still finish the swap at the end of the month.

All in good fun, Gigmaster! I’ve not done epoxy before so I wanted everyone to see them before I glued them to my tying desk!

They look great. I’ve never tied that pattern, but I use epoxy on my Crease Flies, and it takes a little practice to make them look neat.

OK. I’ve finally decided on a pattern. I’ll tie the Puglisi Shad.

Puglisi Shad

Hook: Mustad 3366 sz. 4
Weight: No-Lead wire wrap on hook shank
Thread: Grey 6/0 Unithread
Heart/Gills: red Punisher Craft Fur
Body: Puglisi Fibers-Slate Blue on top and White on the bottom. Black Prismacolor Marker spot.
Eyes: 3D Stick-Ons, 4mm yellow
