It’s my turn to announce a swap. My problem is that I live in Europe, the Netherlands, and you won’t have Dutch stamps, like I don’t have American or Canadian stamps. In the former years we had a sollution. I announce the swap and one off the seniormembers living in America hosts it for me. My proposal is to do this again.

With many new swappers I don’t like to do something difficult, we’ll do a softhackled wet fly. Please wait with naming your pattern till we got a swapmeister!

sjo, I’ve already volunteered to handle the logistics if you approve. Flies will be sent to me and I’ll distribute them back.

Also, is starling banned in The Netherlands?

I’m in with a reverse hackle wet. It will either be starling or hen based on the EU rules.

Does CDC count as a soft-hackle?

When I ty tiny tubes I normally use CDC. It looks a mess, but under water it’s great!!
I’m good with CDC as a soft hackle.

The quarter worked! I’ll do a " Yorkshire Spider", these flies were first mentioned in Dame Juliana Berners’ 1496 Brown Hackle and Peacock
