I’ll do black beetles, peacock body plus black hackle and an estafoam shield in gray/black, anthracite?

I saw a great beetle pattern just the other day. If I can find it again I will try it. In the meantime, put me down for a deer-hair beetle. Mailing address is visible on my location entry.

Updating post on first page of thread as flies come in…

OK, you got me with this one, I’ve never tied a beetle before…

So, I’m going to go with a Ladybug. Now that the hard part is done (picking the pattern), the tying part won’t take long.

Bill,

Have you decided on what to do for August?

Bob

Not yet, I had thought about the usual fall terrestrial but the beetles kind of cut that off at the pass. I’m thinking…

Flies are done:

Very nice, Rex.

Thanks, Bill.

Pistachio Beetles toe tagged and ready for post tomarrow!

Got the answer. Thanks.

Flies went in the mail Tuesday morning.

I am going to try and finish up my flies tonight I have been working on one hell of a honey do list.
