Doug, Of course that would be âthe worldâ according to the Snorgonian. What about those poor suckers riding the tram when they look down and see  ⌠what is the city going to do with 1/2 a million people gardening in the buff? When they are not cutting the grass they will be smokin it
Are you going to be at the Spey Clave at Oxbow this weekend?
If the Portlanders will spend 55 million on a Ski Lift, then there is a possibility that they will celebrate âTHEâ Holiday saturday.
Iâm in a bit of a quandry, Iâm interested in Spey flies, but not too interested in weilding a fourteen foot Spey Rod. I might change my mind if I caught a 15 lb steelie.
The weather report looks good this weekend.
How did you like that crack of thunder wednesday??
Doug
And then again, I recently received a list of âwhoâs reading what?â and as for the Oregonian, " The Oregonian is read by people who have recently caught a fish and need something to wrap it in". Having never read the Oregonian, I report this without comment.
Mark,
It looks like you are correct. The Oregonian along with all newspapers, is losing business. I am still a subscriber, but I like Internet News better.
It sure makes me feel OLD, that Iâm holding on to old technology. I donât have a cell phone, no digital camera, still look at a newspaper everyday and I donât have GPS in my car. Maybe I should get a Record Player and Wringer Washing Machine, then I could be full intrenched!!
My fellow Oregonian, Ducksterman, has commented how much he LOVES! the Oregonian Fishing Report every thursday.
I donât need no stinkin report!! I just follow the Hatchery Truck!!!
Doug
Around here the NW is Seattle. We really donât exist actually. King Bill has mandated that we shall be their servants. Anyone caught using a Spey Rod around here will be instantly flogged!
Doug
Hey Doug, not sure what your poking fun atâŚno photoâs. Thatâs OK, I go on-line to Oregon Live and get up to date news from the old stomping grounds. The Oregonian supplies most of the news of course, and it keeps me happy. Remember the old Journal Newspaper? That was the Democratic newspaper, the Oregionian was the Republican slant on the news. Of course the Oregonian bought out the Journal and as they sayâŚthe rest is history.
And by the way Doug, it sounds like you would make a good Amish gentleman. They like to fish tooâŚmost have their own stocked ponds. And yes, they fly fish too. I have seen them down in Holmes county Ohio fishing. As the Duke sayâsâŚkeepith they back-cast upithâŚor something like that.
Jonezee,
I apologize for not taking photos of naked gardeners
I just wanted to tell you about the Holiday because I knew you liked to try NEW THINGS!!!
Doug
