wrap to eye, fold tag end of foam to create head, tie off/ trim; trim mono
clean, stack, measure (tips to end of body) a clump of deer hair, trim butts, tie in (thread popped at this point, didn’t have enough left on the spool to continue, so subbed black until fly shop opened); set wing upright with a few wraps behind
divide and post wings (return of the purple thread)
tie in hackles (shiny side out)
dub thread/dub thorax; finish at base of wings
wrap hackle down post, tie off with wraps at base; trim
