that is a wealth of info. i can’t part with that canoe for sentimental reasons but would entertain buying another. i am 6 ft 7 inches 310 pounds, any recommendations??? also, i do use pick up truck w/o samper shell and pull a camper with it. where can i find this system that you speak so highly of?

p.s. trying canoe out to decide on model is not an option in east central missippi…will be a mail order/catalogue deal in all liklehood.

Man, I wrote you a really long reply and somehow I hit POST REPLY every word I wrote vanished into cyberspace oblivion. Not the first time I’ve messed up like this.

Rather than try to duplicate it again, I’ll write a story about it in the Warm Water section, with photos to illustrate details.
