Not bad and I didn’t have any coupons. Could have gotten a lot more but this was enough for the first trip and I had family with me so I restrained myself. If I had stayed in there much longer, I would have had to get another large plastic storage box to add to the ones I already have to keep it all in . The place is huge and gives me all sorts of tying ideas. You were right, the plumage that was in stock (on the shelf) was not very good. Thanks for all the help, Folks .

P.S.
For those of you interested in balsa wood blanks to make poppers from, go to the wood working and wood framing area (department). They come in square sticks in stand up bins. I have plenty of balsa already or I would have gotten some more . They also had black, tan, brown, and white shag craft fur. I have the black (I use for Gill Getters) and the white but I just might pick up the tan and brown next trip among other things .

Admirable restraint, Robert.

Robert, I have to agree. Admirable restraint. You obviously didn’t find the rabbit skins, or the nice peacock. And the beads could run several dollars on their own recognizance. I always make a Hobby Lobby run when I go to Fayetteville, AR, to visit my kids, and it usually runs about $75.

“Admirable Restraint” is just a politically
correct term for “That’s all you came home
with?”

It seems every time I go in there I seem
to drop megga bucks. And when I get home,
I find out I forgot something.
It’t like going into Home Depot or Lowes for a washer or bolt.
Next thing you know, you need the truck
to get every thing home.

If I had tried to get more with family, I might have come home with a new shiner rather than new materials .

dixieangler,

That’s the only place I go with the wife
where neither one of asks “are you done yet”
or “hurry up, I’m ready to go”.

She never cares how much I spend, but she
does tell me “don’t you have enough of that
stuff already!”

To many colors, to many choices!
