Jaeger Schnitzel With Spaetzle and Blau Kraut

The groceries to make this plate costed 20 dollars and I served 4 people.

That is so good looking , I can taste it…

I really would like to meet you one day…

I mean eat at your house…

Enjoy every minute buddy, and something tells me you surely do!

2 medium yellow onions sliced thinly
1.5 stick unsalted butter
1 cup red cooking wine

Slow cook until onions soft.
Add 1/2 pint heavy cream
quart pork gravy…canned or made yourself.
3.5 cups sliced mushrooms
basil/celery flakes
salt and pepper to taste.

Cook on low…

Make your spaetzel…

Warm up blau kraut.

4 pork cutlets tenderized…roll in eggs…shake and bake and cook one hour at 375

Looks yummy!

I love German food having spent several years there when my Dad was still active U.S. Army.
We prefer schnitzel made with fresh (green) ham, German potato salad, and a wilted green salad.

Was ist blau kraut? Ist das nicht rot kohl im die photo?

Es schmeckte gut, egal, den Namen.
