Found this on Lucian Vasies’ [b]site[/b]; swapped out the calftail wing for snowshoe hair.

hook - WFC Model 28 #12
thread - Veevus tan
tag - UTC 140 fluoro orange
body - biot tan
thorax - Ice Dub hare’s ear tan
wing - snowshoe rabbit foot
hackle - ginger

Another beautiful fly! Thanks for posting all of these.
You have listed the thorax as “Ice Dub hare’s ear tan”, but the photo makes it look like peacock herl. Are my eyes deceiving me?

Ted,

I see what you’re saying - the hackle has a dark center, a ginger-colored furnace, and that makes the thorax darker. It is Ice Dub hare’s ear tan under there.
