It’s sunny!! It’s colder than hog snot! I don’t care! I’m going fishing!! Huzzah!
Every day is Friday when your retired…S
Cold here too…suppose to be 16 tonight!
Hadn’t heard that one before. It was about 3 below here this morning according to my handy dandy wall thermometer.
I don’t want to go out to go to Home Depot, but I need to.
12 degrees on my therm. with a 7-14 mph wind and snow in the air. Betty, hope the fishing was good or if not at least the experience was. Trouts may not live in ugly places but I’m not venturing out to test your theory.
Go git ‘em, girl! Make us all proud. We don’ care about no stinkink cold…
Best of luck,
Kelly
Thank you guys!! I’ll be back Monday!
Sully … FWIW … been retired for 12 years. Theoretically every day is Friday, unless you have C&R fishing limited to weekends during the winter! (F,S,S,M)
Be afraid fishies! Be very afraid!!
Betty,
Have loads of fun. Catch lots of fish.
Catch them trout.
Bruce
warning to all fishies!!!
hrh betty is on the hunt!!!
Enjoy every min. of it!!!
Hog snot is cold if you have to be out feeding them …
Now today we are getting 5-7 inch’s of snow, with half of it already on the ground, Don’t think I can cast inbetween snow flakes, but do hope you are having a grand time catching trouts…
Tim
25 when I got up this morning. Not many fish around here right now. To early for native steelhead. There aren’t any trout to fish for here. Some Chum salmon still around but they are getting a little worn out looking now. I think I will stay inside next to the fire where it is cosy and warm. Clean lines and reels, maybe tie a fly or two. Might venture out later to shoot a couple pictures.
I wake up to find us under 2 inches of a strange, white, flaky material!
Out here when that happens we check to make sure it is snow and not volcanic ash!
Came home a day early … ice storm and snow moving into the area.
Fishing was WONDERFUL!! No people!! Really, really cold, but that’s OK with me. The guy who developed the foot warmers that you put in your shoes, has my undying gratitude!!
I’m glad you had a good time! Sorry you had to leave a day early, but I’m sure the fish was glad!!!
I am double glad you had a good time, I just bought some of those warm for hands and feet things myself, after reading a couple more of Johnscotts fishing reports, I decided to pick some up to have for outings so I can get in some winter time on the water. The days are not all cold cold and with a little help with those warmers, I should be able to have some good trips out. Again, glad you enjoyed yours and am looking forward to more reports from your part of the woods so to speak…
Tim
Tim,
Those little warmer thingies are wonderful!! They have a little sticky strip on them that keep them in place all day long! Next time I go out in weather like this, I’m going to buy a case of them, and stick them all over my entire body!!!
A big 10-4 on the warmer things! If I were’nt stuck in the house with
a case of shingles I be at my favorite creek right now!
The problem with retirement is… you never get a day off!
Betty, glad you had fun and were able to get out. -14 degrees outside this a.m., yes, that was -14 (w/wind chill) where I live. Dang! I guess it’s a good time to be recuperating. Best wishes for a lot more fishes!!
