It's Florida Fish-In Week !

The festivities & fishing will start when you arrive for another day in paradise ! If you could email what day & time you plan on getting into town, they’ll be arrangements made to meet your party so you don’t miss the groups activities. Gil

I’ll be thinking of you all and wishing I was there.

Spent a cold day on getting orientated on my yak yesterday. Plan on giving it a salty baptism once the nor’ easter has got below 15mph and the forecast snow storms have run through.

We will be at the Veranda on or about 9AM on the second. I can recieve email, but I am unable to send it through my outlook express. If anyone needs to email us use this address: lesjudy97@yahoo.com which I can send and recieve with.

Les & Judy Maynard

Ed Mercado and I will be at the Veranda about 10 am on the 2nd, provided we don’t get side-tracked.

hopefully the 3rd at the latest, maybe the late on the 2cnd. Just do a good fish-in war dance for us will ya.

The Yakima rack from the 2003 explorer does not fit the new one and Yakima is sending out one next day air today. I am thrilled she wanted to check things out early, I gues its a woman thing.

Gil bring a cordless drill and some goop so we can put the cleat on the yak if ya can. Other wise I’ll hold on with my teeth

Les leave some fish for us

Can’t wait

The Geezer

Old Geezer,Good news, I have been fishing Honeymoon Island with some fairly good results. And have released everything. So do not fret. And get your buns down here.

Looks like y’all are going to let me sleep in Thursday. Have just finished 30 information packets, except for the events & activities page. Might even have time to get the Thursday Waterline fishing magazines requested from the local newspaper for more reading pleasure before driving up the road !

Les Maynard,

I was born and raised in these here parts and that AIN’T Honeymoon Island!!!

Gil

Ya mean that cold front was not as bad as it looks

Question are there any Gators in that water ??

Phil, there ain’t no steenkin’ gators down here…

Dude, say honest ta God, been having some nightmares with the low free board on the yak, I can get tippy, not just on the grog

Phil, it will be matin’ season for the gators pretty soon. The silhouette of a yak underwater…well, I just don’t know. Just kiddin’…

Phil

If you want to see gators we can arrainge that. But Poor Saltydancindave has spent the last 3 months moving all the gators back to the swamp. It would be a shame for all his hard work to go for nothing. I can take you to the place he “stored them” if you like and we can take a lot of pictures of them. But if you want to get in the water with them, please make sure I have the camera pointed at you. Gators do not leave much after a good feed.

Like I said Dave has been working very hard at making this fish-in the best yet. He has worked very hard and I for one am looking forward to the play time.

His fish are hungry.

Harold

Well I am plump enough this year believe me. I’ll take the bear, coyotes, snakes etc, but those darn gators like sweet greesy geezers.

We are out of here and heading south

Later all

Don’t let Dude hear about gators. He’ll be scared… scared that he’ll miss the chance to catch another one with his flyrod.

jed

Jed;

The Dude attracts big animals with his fly rod. Ask him the next time you see him about the dolphin drag race he organized just for me when I was able to get back in the water a few years back. Also ask him about Linda’s pet Dolphin.

Harold

I just can not see the Dude haveing his way with a Dolphin. Maybe the Geezer but not the Dude.

Pirates: check the activities & events list emailed recently. Will be in the info packets. Hope it meets your approval, or we’ll just have to get the plank set up for the gator’s watering hole…Harold & Stev will bring their sharp swords of piracy ! That’s gonna be a looooooooooooooooooooooooong walk the plank !
