If you have ever seen him cast or teach someone to cast, you will see why the suit is the proper attire.

I don’t doubt you for a minute. The best advice I ever got on casting was from one of his articles that proclaimed the importance of stopping the rod.
JC worked with me last year at the Michigan Fish-In. Unfortunately, I was unable to make it this year, but he deserves the suit as Brad said.

It’s true that he earned the suit, yet he is a humble man as noted in the picture below where he drops to one knee and gives thanks for the aluminus and bikini hatches occurring at the same time.

Just made flight reservations to come to Grants Pass, OR to visit some family (9-7 to 9-11). Shame that I’m flying into Medford, otherwise I’d stop by to say “HEY!” We were going to fly into Portland cuz it’s cheaper, but the long drive just aint worth the cost savings. We’d lose an entire day just to driving back and forth, and I can spend that time fishing somewhere or partaking of adult beverages with my kinfolk.
I’ll probably fish the Medford Drainage Ditch (Rogue River) cuz I can walk there from my cousin’s house. Didn’t do any good there last year with the low water levels. Hopefully the levels will be up this year. Had a guide that took me out, and after we were on the water I found out that he mainly fished bait & hardware, and didn’t know much about fly fishing. No tip for him, and he barely got paid after that fiasco.

I confess. I did stop once during my dissertation to view the stream as some comely babes paddled by. I only stopped for a moment tho, as my “X-ray” eyes gave me a great advantage and leering was not necessary. I did mention that to the throng gathered at the time.
