Of course not, but one of Ricks flies did help me break in my recently built 3wt. Went fishing over lunch and actually caught (hey I can say that now) a couple of bluegill on it. Thanks Rick. Next up is to catch something with a fly I tied. Maybe Thursday at lunch.
Glad to hear your catch drought ended, Swen . Bream on the fly rod are always a lot of fun
. I know you had to have had a great time of it on the little 3wt. You ought to try one of Rick’s flies called the “Gilly” (with a gold beadhead) if that’s not the one you are already using. Of all of the flies Rick has listed as his favorites, that one has been the best for me on bream so far (I’m still trying some of his others).
