My buddy Jay and I flyfished for trout in NE Iowa on Tuesday and Wednesday. We visited 3 streams within ~1/2 hour of Decorah. Always an adventure.

This Bald-Faced Hornet nest was about chest-high above the ground, and we nearly walked right into it. I slid my cell phone under it and snapped a picture. Pretty cool!

GREAT pics and report. BUT are there any good pork tenderloin sandwich places nearby? After a day like that, a frosty mug and a Frisbee sized cutlet Sammy would hit the spot for sure.
