Here’s a little surprise for you:

This is precious,
OK OK!! That did it, I’ve just bought a new “Piggy Bank” and put my first deposit in it! I am now saving for my first “Kusse Quad” Might afford it in about 3-4 years.

This film is a living slice of history. Valuable in several ways.
I’ve been thinking about saving for a blank, then putting my own components on it. Saves some money and makes the rod a bit more personal for me.
He’s easy to talk to and I think he still might offer a blank. We sure love the ones we have.
Thank you LF for putting that on here. Great way to start my day, I really enjoyed watching that…
After the sound starts, pan down the browser page.
That was very nice. I sure wish news programs were like that again!!
I believe Kusse is no longer taking orders, you will need to try the secondary market. In 3-4 years they won’t be cheap or easy to find.
The film is also now on Ron’s web site too. It is not set for ‘auto-start’ at this time. Put your mouse on it and a control bar will show at the bottom.

I watched the video.
Someday I may feel adequate to the idea of getting a bamboo rod.
I am fortunate enough to be able to purchase one (a good one) without a lot of financial hardship (note that I said “a lot” of hardship). I just feel inadequate enough as an angler to try to fish with one.
I really liked what Mr, Kruse said about his work. to paraphrase…
“Do what you will do , as though your name is going onto it”.
More people should have that thought .
Those rods?
They sure are pretty arent they?
That was enjoyable. I hope that piece finds its way to the Smithsonian.
He doesn’t ‘sign’ his rods, he ‘engraves’ his name into the metal work on each. Class act; all the way.
