Wish I would have had one just a couple of weeks ago. Took the 8 wt Salmon fishing. Water was moving pretty good and I was using my wading staff. The staff was stored on the belt and I hooked a good fish, who after about a minute of fighting close to me decided to head back to the big lake. The run was impressive and I thought it was cool until I almost reached the end of the 150 yards of backing that I had on the reel. I hooked the fish above a bridge and rapids and when that fish hit the rapids there was no bringing him back, I had to go to the fish.

Now the fish didn’t go around the shallow part of the bridge but between the bridge supports in the center where a nice hole was. I decided to follow the fish right through the hole. Swam, tumbled stumbled through the hole was more like it. I made it to the other side and wondered about drowning for a fish. I landed the fish about 300 yards down river. Next time out I didn’t fish above that bridge and I brought my 10 wt. :stuck_out_tongue:

is it shippable, with that CO2 cartridge, or must i go to Cabela’s?
