Beginning this year, Wyoming will require all boat craft, non-motorized and motorized to purchase and have affixed to it a new sticker (tax?!) that is geared towards invasive species prevention (mussels etc.). The new sticker will be available on their website next week and available at G&F license stores beginning in May.
This sticker is not needed for YNP, but will be required for Teton National Park I believe.
Not sure if anyone had mentioned this before.
“Costs for the decal under the emergency regulations are $10 for motorized watercraft registered in Wyoming, $30 for motorized watercraft registered in other states, $5 for non-motorized watercraft owned by Wyoming residents and $15 for non-motorized watercraft owned by nonresidents. Decals will go on sale on the WGFD website on April 15 and at automated license selling agents on May 17.”
