When I go to Cabela’s website and select an item from say, flyfishing, then try to zoom in for a better look all I get is a message that says one moment please and three little dots moving to show me the image is loading. However, the image never loads. Can anyone tell me if this is a problem with Cabela’s site, or with my puter. I have Windows Vista Home Premium, and when I had XP it worked fine.

It happens to me on some items at Cabelas. I think the problem is on their end not yours.
Now, if EVERY item suffers the same fate, then there may be some version of flash or javascript that needs to be updated on your computer.
I’d check a few items out and see if they all do the same thing. You may want to contact their customer service if you are having problems with their site.

I just tried several items and the zoom feature is working fine for me. My OS is XP. I have not used Vista so I can’t tell you if it’s your OS or if Cabelas has issues.

When my computer crashed some time ago I had to replace it. I had XP and liked it so I asked for it again, but Best Buy in their infinite wisdom replaced it with Vista. They also didn’t load Adobe Flashplayer and that’s what I needed to make everything work as before. So I downloaded Flashplayer and now it works just fine.
