This morning I went to work and did not wear a jacket since the weather here in Tennessee is really pretty nice. About mid-morning I called Jack to see what he was up to and he told me he was backing his vehicle out of his driveway to go fishing. I told him to let me know how he done since I had planned to go after work. He never called me back so about mid-afternoon I called him and he told me that after fishing for about one hour he got …are you ready for this…cold and he came back home!! Now this is a man that moved here from Michigan!
Jack, I warned you that I was going to tell all your FAOL buddies about this!
Well Dag Gone It, It got cold!! Please note that Warren was at "Work’!! No doubt envyous of my ability to fish at any time ( my being Retired you know!).
Anyone that responds to Warren’s post will be removed from my ‘Will’ (which includes 3 bamboo rods) and stricken from my guest list!!
So There!!
It’s in the mid to high 90’s here in Phoenix, air conditioner is already running and jacking up the electric bill sky high.
What I wouldn’t give to be wearing a jacket right now! Nothing but shorts and T-shirts. Can you say hello to 115 degrees, coming real soon to an Arizona town near you! Hehehehehehe!!!
Hope the both of you are enjoying the fishing, and the weather.
Of course Warren has failed to mention the fact that the water that Jack was standing in was in the 40’s and running. And as a result, there is usually a chilly mist. In fact, a lot of folks take a light windbreaker into the summer because early mornings can be sub-60 (F) temperature-wise. I think that it was the jealousy speaking, not actually Warren. I suppose that having Jack call him 3-4 times a week telling him how good the fishing has been has finally taken its toll on Warren.
So Jack, what are they hitting on down on the Elk and Duck? Has Warren showed you the Harpeth Skeeter pattern yet?
