i havne’t fished seriously with the fly rod in months. it’s just been too easy to pull out the btcaster, or sp*nning setups, and i even caught a 4-foot shark using bt. i’m definitely going to hell.
at least i haven’t fished freshwater with that stuff. lord help me if i fish for trout using conventional equipment. that’ll surely save me a seat next to the devil.

If you have not started you will soon go into withdrawls it will be bad at first, so to ward them off take the fly rod out in the yard and practice with it… Then go out and fly fish for bait. Anything just listen to the fly rod. Check it and make sure there is not tape wrapped around the rod case… Someone is trying to get you to change your fishing style. I’ll bet the red fish have something to do with this.
Now smile and take all your fly rods and wash them. I know it is not fishing but it is after all 12:55 am and the fish are not biting.

Look, im not bashing people who spin-fish or use traditional fishing tackle. They just dont realize the joy you could get from catching a fish on a fly.

Look at you guys already forming a little hell posse. Can’t we go anywhere without forming little social groups. I want peace and quiet when I end up down there fishing for strippers, yes strippers not stripers this is hell after all and I won’t have to share. It will be fun no worries.

to hell for spin fishing, not a chance, I’ve done way too many other things to be worried about that. but given the condition my shoulder has been in the last couple of days, and I’m planning a week off for fly fishing, spin gear may be an option as I’m not sure I’ll be able to cast for 7 days straight.
