I hope it’s not just a carrot on a stick!! Once I get through Tuesday (oh, please let me get through Tuesday), I’m going FISHING!!! To the land of NO TROUTS!!! I’m almost of a mind that Cary will say anything to get me to go to the center, but even in a weakened condition, if this is a hoax, I still think I could beat the snot out of him!!

Yep! That’d be Wednesday! Head for the Hills (the Black Hills) for a few days of respite. Too bad there’s no trouts there!!:rolleyes: So nothing to be envious about!!
Now I’m REALLY, REALLY JEALOUS! (wish we could be therewith you! )

It’s a bit closer to visit me than the Black Hills and I have a spare bedroom!! Warren and I sucked 58 out of the Elk River on Friday and I took in 19 on Wednesday before breaking the ZLX 3 wt!! You and Cary come on down and after a tour of the Jack Danial’s distilery and a Slaw Burger at the Iron Kettle we’ll give sore lips to dozens of trout!!
Bring your net 'cause they stocked some big uns!!

Last week I took 41 trout out of the Elk River. Wareen took 114!! There are no Trout in Tennessee! This was done in only 3 days. Me on Wed, Warren and I on Fri. and Waren on Monday. I think the average is 6-7 fph (fish per hour!). There are no trout in Tennessee, none, nada, nil, don’t waste your time!! This is all a big lie, like the moon landing!!
PS This was all done in about a 1/4 mile stretch of the River!! But it is a lie, a mere figment of my imagination. Old age ya know!! Never, never come to Tennessee to fish for trout!
PPS I’ll leave the porch light on for ya!
Good for you Betty. I wish I could send you some of our BC trout but alas much like the Black Hills BC no longer has trout to send. 
You can be assured that If there were some left I would have emailed you a scad of them pronto!
Here’s hoping everything goes tickety boo and you are able to at least do some shadow casts to where there should have been trout.
One good thing is you won’t have to clean all those yucky trout that aren’t there.
Yesterday was rough. But I’m going fishing!!! Quickly, before they figure out where I’ve gone!!!
My giddy is reserved today … probably from the feeling I’ve been hit by a mac truck. It will return when we cross the State line into South Dakota!!

Betty, back in my frat rat days, we would all give blood whenever there was a blood drive on campus and then go back to the house and have a party. You’d be surprised how fast you can get giddy… BTW, we usually had the highest % of blood donors of any frat. Wheeeeeeeeee… Rough to cast in that condition, though…
