I’ve been gone for a while, but after a conversation with Betty Hiner and Steve Molcsan, I’ve put some self indulgent and stupid pride issues behind me. With tail tucked between my legs, I’m returning in hopes of a warm welcome home. I have to say that the finest, not some of the finest, but THE finest folks I’ve ever met in the fishing community, I’ve met because of FAOL. I’m not fly fishing my favorite rivers and streams anymore because of health reasons. But I do manage to take the boat out once or twice a month during favorable weather. And certainly the cost of gasoline now that I’m retired is severely restricting my travel. Anyway, I’m looking forward to renewing old friendships and perhaps striking up a few new ones as well. It already feels good to be back.
God Bless,
Lotech Joe
No need to tuck tail!! The welcome mat is always out! Coffee is hot … did you remember the donuts?
Yes I did Betty, but I already ate the apple fritters. I learned that from Fishin Injun.
Welcome back. Been kind of quiet here of late, so be loquacious.
