For sheer beauty, I think I’d vote for a big cutthroat in full spawning color.
For the way they hit a streamer in moving water, my vote goes to brown trout.
For athletism and acrobatics, my vote is definitely for rainbows.
For aggressive strikes on any dry fly, brookies get my vote.

A Sea Run Cutthroat that is all colored up is one of the prettiest fish I’ve ever seen, though a colored up brookie is a very close second.

Based on those pictures, I would impartially pick the Brook Trout.
HOWEVER, the cutthroat we have around here are much more beautiful than the one shown in the cutthroat link, and a bit, just a bit, mind you, ahead of the brookie in that link.
