Idaho Falls Fly Tying Expo

Well, it is official. I will be at the Shilo tying both days

Friday,April 15th 11:30-2:30
and a change on my Sat. but right now I am Saturday, 4/16, noon-4

SEE YOU THERE!!!

Us too. Great show. Are you doing anpother class/seminar this year? Looking forward to seeing everyone again.

REE

I don’t think so, but it was a last minute thing last year, so never know.

I’ll be there also for the two days. I am putting on a classroom/seminar on spring creek flies.

I don’t think they have the 2011 Expo site up since Bruce Staples just had the same surgery on the same ankle by the same surgeon as I did. I’m sure it will be there shortly.

Can’t wait. This is truly one of the premier fly tying expos in the western United States each year.

Kelly.

… to the Snake River Cutthroat website. That club hosts the expo.

Thanks, John. Don’t know why I couldn’t access this info, but I couldn’t. Unfortunately the 2011 schedule is not posted yet, but there will definitely be some premier tiers from around the country showing us their stuff.

Thanks, Ron. Sorry I’ve been so busy I totally failed to see your post. I see you and Vickie will be in attendance; can’t wait to catch up. I am excited for the workshop, just hope I can fill up 4 hours of the time allotted.

Anyway, for those of you interested, I thought I’d bump this one again since we’re so close. The 2011 East Idaho Fly Tying Expo is just around the corner and we’d love to see you there - April 15-16 in Idaho Falls, ID. The expo is in its 18th year. Admission both days is free and you will be treated to over 145 demo fly tyers where you can sit, observe, take notes and ask questions of some of the worlds best fly tyers. Tyers such as Bob Jacklin, Mike Lawson, Al and Gretchen Beatty, Jay Buchner, Carl Yoshida, Tim Tollett and Scott Sanchez to name a few, along with several tyers from right here at FAOL including myself, Ron and Vickie Eagle Elk and Joni Tomich.

There will be workshops hosted by Bob Jacklin, Mike Lawson, Jack Dennis and a variety of others to fill a large portion of everything fly fishing and tying.

Here is the link: http://srcexpo.com/

Hope you can make it. This is truly one of the premier fly tying and fishing expos in the country.
