Jump boxes will eventually go on the top AND bottom.
I put a duplicate on the bottom as a test, but the form name is hardcoded in the script, so when you used the jump at the bottom it took you to the selection of the jumpbox at the top. Very annoying. So I removed it from the bottom until I decide the best way to fix it.
The contest is my priority this week.

I am working on a new invention, the FAOL high speed roller mouse. One touch of the center mouse roller button and in a millisecond you will be wisked to the FAOL On Line page. It will be programable for you favorite page. I expect to become a sponser and hope to put my grandchildren through college with this fantastic device. I hope to get WalMart to stock it but I have to put that crazy scan bar on each one. If that doesn’t work out I’ll ask AKALooker to give me a hand. Yes, we will have FlyGirl colors too.

OH. not so easy. Its coded in the depths of the template system to not allow someone to remove something and make a thread unreadable, like walking into the middle of a conversation. Believe me this is a major pain for us too esp. in the area of for sale and things wanted.
It’s on the editor’s wish list, not that it get’s any special treatment. BUT it means I hear about it a LOT more

I agree 100% with Jeds’ suggestion for the “order” in categories.

Well, I will vote (I get one, right?) I would like the list of forums to be like the old way. One list. I was use to it, knew where things were and liked it.
The removing posts thing. I don’t think a reader should be able to ‘remove’ another readers post. Lets say you start a topic about not liking the ‘Bubbles Co.’, one of our sponsors. You claim (wrongly) that the rods are made off shore and are likely to break. We get a response from 8 guys telling you that you are wrong and they love the things. Right before I email the string to the sponsor… you remove it. There are other reasons too. You make a statement on a topic that is wrong and are embarrassed when some guy gives you a very detailed response. Good information for everybody. So, my vote is, leave it like it is. If someone posts after yours, you can’t pull it.
I would like to see pop ups when you place your pointer over a topic. The pop up could show the first few lines of the 1st post. Sometimes the topic starter will not have a very descriptive topic line and the pop up would let you know if you really wanted to read to thread or not.
I second that suggestion! That feature is available on other boards I frequent and it is nice. Especially if I’m too stupid to remember if I read the topic in the first place.
YES!! that is, if I get a vote, too! the old page layout! But maybe put paddling up higher on the page … that ok with you Jim Hatch?

While the presentation of the new board is still being shaped, would it be possible to post the rules that we all signed to when we joined the Board, in the FAOL Notification portion? Call it Notifications and Rules; lock them in, and let it be a daily reminder that we have signed a compliance to the Rules. Just an idea.

I sort of like the BB the way it is. The more I use it the easier it is to navigate around in.
Yes I used to delete my threads after they sat idle for a period of time because it would free up space and I sort of liked the 'Thank You" message for doing it.

I’m sorry everyone, but I set my self a set of tasks every morning I wake up. If just scrolling down or up was all I had to do to make my day easier…I would be very happy. Life is not always a bowl of cherries, but at least here on FAOL we have some peach’s to nibble on. I for one don’t care how I have to navigate, just happy to be able to do so.
J.C. is right, you also have to go to the back of the sore to get a gallon of milk or a six pack of beer.
