I Think I'm alone...

ok, i’ll admit it–i’ve traded two foot stripers (sometimes three) for two inch rainbow trout (sometimes three). but missoula montana really is heaven. i’ve fished the clark fork, big blackfoot, rock creek, fish creek, and the bitteroot–all beautiful rivers, most within a ten minute drive. i need to ask you freshwater guys a question, though–why won’t the trout take my 2/0 chartreuse clouser? should i try a different color?

and, Dude, I’ll always be a pirate!

and EdD, I’m at the University of Montana–the Harvard of the west…where deer wander around campus like stray dogs…

And, Harold, you hit the nail on the head. When the big earthquake comes, Montana will be on the coast. I’m buying “ocean front” property as we speak…

You can call me Mike & you can call me Mikey…Just remember that this site’s about sharing!

Dave, save your 2/0 Clousers until April then come fish for stripers in Percy Priest Lake here in Nashville. It stays wet all winter, something that you’ll appreciate next April, from what I here about Montana and something called “winter”.

Ahhh, Priest Lake. Fished that a couple of times. My good friend is a pro photographer in Nashville and that’s one of his favorite places to fish.
