I Miss Him...RonMT

I have a bad feeling about this and I am sad at this moment…I hope I am wrong.

The thread …“Go To Fly” …reminds me of him. We have had similar threads on that subject and I for one tried my darnedest to get him to name one…I tried all kinds of approaches and he always “wiggled” out…

For those of you who don’t know of him you are missing something. He was one of the most knowledgeable , practical, obviously good fisherman, and good guy on this site. I wish I had known of him when I fished Montana.

RonMT, are you out there? Please let us know …we miss you!

Duck,
I have also wondered what happened to Ron…one of the truly “good guys” on here. His posts were always worth reading.
Mike

Agreed.

Hope he’s OK…

There seems to be several that have disappeared into thin air. I hope RonMT and the others are well and we’ll see them back here soon.

Noticed that also. I hope they are all in good health.

Hopefully it is because it is the fishing and vacation season and they are all vacationing in some tropical island. Perhaps fishing each day and sipping rum and pinapple umbrella drinks in the evening.

It is sad that some of the good folks that frequent this wonderful site just fade away for whatever reason and we miss their presence.

I take heart in the fact that every once in a while one of the “old hands” that we haven’t heard from in a long while, suddenly will show up again after a long absence. I hope this is the case with Ron.

ducksterman… this is just a guess on my part but I bet that fly was probably a bead head wooly ptn caddis bugger egg sucking purple leach streamer dry nymph fly.

Yeah … RonMT was a class act. He had a wealth of information he freely shared without arrogance or attitude. I’ve learned several “neat” things from RonMT and miss his presence as well. I do hope he is OK.

It sucks doesn’t it.

Don’t know how I missed that one. I will miss Ron.
