I love my Sage LL 2wt.

Got out Sunday with my 2wt. Was using a #26 WD40, fishing the tail water. No indicator just drifting it in the current and felt the WAM. He took off running and I started to see backing coming (could not get him out of the current). I took off running down shore to my brother down stream who was waiting with his net. Released it un harmed. Sorry so dark, the sun was behind me and no flash.

That is a nice fish on a 2wt! I have 2 2wts and I love them. My Orvis superfine is my favorite rod. I bought it for small stream fishing but have been suprised how well it holds up against fish in the 16" or 17" fish range. Now I want a 0 or 1wt.

Thankfully we have not had to endure that soft white fluffy stuff nor the accompanying “stuck string” syndrome associated with your “coyotes stuck to trees” winter temps since leaving E. Wa.
Our humble opinion is that BOTH species photo’ed, are represented by fine specimens, indeed.
Brrrr…AND a #26 bug!!!
…lee s.

FG, nice fish.
What is the length of your 2 wt?

and i thought you were an orvis gal. i take back my proposal!

Fly Goddess,

You gotta watch out for lee s, he’s such a flirt!!!, although I’m sure Alan would agree that lee s’ statement is indeed factual. Hehehehe!!!

I guess it’s hard to blame him, we all enjoy the beautiful things that God has made, thats why some or most of us fly fish.

A gorgeous Wild Trout and a beautiful woman in waders with a fly rod, decisions, decisions. LOL!!!

Fly Goddess, I for one can tell you I have enjoyed your contributions and photos, and hope you call FAOL home for a long time, you have contributed immensely to our little fishing world.

Thank you for adding a little 3-D to such a flat on-line world.

lee s and D. Micus, be careful, I think Fly Goddess’s husband is like 6’5", 240lbs and carries a stiff Orvis T-3 for fighting off large suckers that try and swim in his feeding lane!!! Hahahaha!!! I don’t care who ya are, that was funny. ROFLMAO!!!

I hope you guys have a good sense of humor today, after all it is Monday.

Git-da-Net!!!

Terry

To quote Seinfeld:

“ho, ho, hold on now…”

She’s accepting proposals?

Please email pics of rod & reel. <G>

I am an Orvis gal, but I am multi tasking LOL. Plus I pick-up this 7’9" LL for $50. It is quite a bit faster than the Super Fines and easier to work with in the wind yesterday. By the way, I just got hired at another fly shop that carries Redington and Loomis and that Streamdance 9’ 4wt has got my name all over it. The 9’6" 6wt will follow up, but I got to test drive the Boron tonight. My taste aren’t outrageous NOT! Down side is I have to buy two of everything (Alan feels left out)

Buzz,

Don’t you know its rude to ask the length of a woman’s rod?

Paul

FG,

Nice Fish!!!

I know how you feel when it comes to getting two of everything. When VEE and I hit a fly shop, my bill is double what is was before she became a hardcore fly fisher. (Okay, I love it that way!)

REE

REE,

Just means you always have a back-up!

Terry

OK, it’s not a 2 wt, but my lil 7’11" 4 wt Sage LL is a close cousin of your rod and I understand your attachment to it. Great rod!!
Thank you Sage for making heavenly tackle!

Congratulations,

Bill

Name indicates where I fish and for what I fish.

Wait, the cost is doubled when you get the wife hooked on FF?
Note to self: Tell wife to go get the fur coat at Nordstroms. Cheaper in the long run.

PS: FlyGoddes. Very nice fish on a 2wt.

God Blesses!
