Yes I did indeed win some of his flies. In a C&F fly box no less…and a bunch extra in a separate plastic container. Very timely since I capsized my boat and lost ALL my fly collection. How timely a win. Exackery what I needed as I am not a very good fly tying person. I need to buckle down and learn the art of tying the fly.

I am very glad to have won them. Couple of other people on here have tied and are sending me some flies free of charge. So…I am fast building my fly stock back up. Except the fly box I received from FAOL is the only flybox I have. I will have to either create something ingenious, or buy some cheapies at wal mart.
But I am sure happy to get the flies. I have to make a separate post. Some generous person sent me 2 dozen flies…every fly is beautiful and different. 24 different flies for me to go trout fishing with! "NICE’
Except there was absolutely no return address! I have no idea who to thank. So if the person is a bit put out…it’s because I have no idea who sent them…but very very glad to receive them.

I am very glad to see so many posts welcoming me back. A bit taken aback actually. But it is a good feeling to read welcome back home to family. Frankly it is the only family I have. It’s all very very good for me right now. I feel better now than I did a week ago.

Those cheapy fly boxes at WalMart cost twice as much at Bass Pro. Besides that, they are not a bad box. They are not fancy, but they sure hold flies and I wouldn’t feel too bad if one of them fell in the lake.
Jim. if those flies were in a curry powder container(black plastic bottle) they were the ones promised when folks promised to donate to the salvation army. The postmistess here tore off my return address label because it was more legible than the address. She didn’t want the package coming back!

Rainbow…I had forgotten about the donation and flies! Wow what a nice set of flies for a ten spot. Thanks for 'waking me up." Now I know where they came from. AND…I forgot to do the donation! I am way ahead huh? Just kidding. I will be going to town Monday morning. Am posting an 8.5 x 11" sheet of paper on my front door to get the donation done. Small town…but usually can find them somewhere.
I forgot the original post. sooooo…for another set of two dozen flies that sweet I would gladly drop another ten spot into the kettle. Can that be done…or are you perhaps outta flies? Can’t see how you could do this for very many people. You provided the container and paid the postage!
Hmmmm…rather than be greedy…let me just say anyone who has a chance to still do this should really do it. Besides the great cause it is for…those are great flies. I just don’t remember if it was for the first few that donated or what. But really neato.
I for one received great reward in return for a donation. What a sweet donation generator.
