I will be visiting my new twin granddaughters soon. Born around 9:30 this morning by C-section, both girls & Molly are doing fine…weighed 5 lbs & 4 lbs 8 oz.
Names are Alexis (Lexi) & Abigail Abby).
That gives me 6 grandchildren…5 girls & 1 boy. I think Grandpa & Grandma are gonna be pretty busy, but NOT as busy as Mom & Dad!
Mike
Great news, I love being a grandpa too! My neice has two sets of twins, now thats a handful. You will have the enjoyment of buying two sets of fishing gear for the little ladies one day soon. Lucky man.
Congratulations to all of you, Mike! I still wonder what you folks put in the water out there in your neck of the woods.
Ain’t it wonderful to have all of those little ones to spoil grandpa, aahh, I mean for grandpa to spoil? Amy was tickled pink and sends her love to all of the Flanagan family. Two more to add to our family here at FAOL as well!! Don’t you just love it!
Twins, huh? For her next birthday, someone needs to buy Molly a nice black and white-striped blouse of the kind sold at athletic stores: they’re called referee shirts!
I just got back from the hospital. Youngest daughter Maggie was a little off in the sizes…
Abby is 16 3/4" & 4 lbs 9 oz
Lexi is 17 1/2" long & 4 lbs 10 oz
They are running tests to determine whether or not they are identical. I can’t see any difference, but I’m an old guy! All I know is they’re cute as all getout & I’m gonna spoil the heck out of 'em.
Betty…Molly has never weighed more than 97 lbs! (other than her pregnancies) Tell ME how she had twins this size!
Joe…You’re right about the referee shirts…their sister is just 15 months old!
BTW, I have already started saving for a canoe…got to get all these young folks on the water early in life!

Congratulations, Mike. Better make that one of the really big canoes if you want to take them all. I got to ride in one of those 30 canoes with 12 paddles once. It’s a blast.

The only limitations we have are the ones we put on ourselves.
Glad to hear all are doing fine!!!..My Wee’one was 4 lb 10 oz. too…so I can really appreciate just how small the Lil’Ladies are…Enjoy them… They grow so fast…One min your holding em…the next they are to busy running around the house to allow you to…
Keep us posted and Congrat’s, from the Knepp Clan!
Congratulations Mike,
I have 3 grandsons. 2 Just moved across the country, but there still is 1 here. Unfortunately, he’s only 5 months old so I need to wait a couple of years before I can take him camping or fishing.
To quote a sweatshirt I saw, “If I would have known how much fun Grandchildren were I would have had them first.”
