finish off this Golden Pheasant head. It dried with it’s beak open and is flat spooky! Danged thng looks like it is going to rise from the dead and demand fish brains or something.
if it only demands fish brains you very fortunate. i’ve heard many horror stories about ded GF heads.
oh…cut off the beak before something much more serious happens. they love human eyes

I don’t like looking at heads either, it is spooky. I especially hate hare masks. It looks like something Jason would wear or something. I don’t dare bring one in the house. My daughter every now and then opens the fridge and screams…and gags…and it is just some of my tying stuff. I had thought about getting a whole red fox pelt and nailing it on the wall, and let her just happen upon it one day. But then I decided my ears couldn’t handle the decibels that were bound to ensue.
Don’t forget to check your floors each morning. When you start seeing the ghosts of pheasant tracks, you’re in Big Trouble.

Actually, open beak heads are very dangerous. I’ve figured out a way to make them safe though. Send it to me and I’ll fix it and send it back. Unfiortunately, it takes a long time, and requires the removal of a lot of feathers, but better safe than sorry!

Sorry, Jeff. The long stuff in the crest is already pretty much gone. So he is not only frozen with an open beak, he looks like of like Donald Trump, too!
I think that is what makes it so scary!

My grandsons find this and they will use it to terrorize their sisters and cousins.
