I Guess You Can Leave the Pepper Spray & Firearms at Home...

…and bring some veggies:

Finally, a worthwile use for zucchini!

The Broncos should bring her in for a try out. That’s a good arm to hit a 300 lb. snarling grizzly with a 14" zucchini.

Bamboozle,

Hey, I really hope this doesn’t put the zucchini bread makers out of business. Thats about all zucchini WAS good for - except maybe a door stop or a wheel chalk. When I lived in the U.P. of Mich. my one neighbor grew these humongous zucchinis. You could have hollowed one out and paddled a small cub scout pack around the lake in it! LOL!!! I would still bring my firearm and a zucchini as backup, and besides if you got hungry you can always eat the gun!

Bam.
I, having stated in another thread, that in a few days I’m leaving for the wilds of Wyoming complete with UDAT and my 44 mag, am NOW going to shop for the BIGGEST Zucchini I can find. I have holsters for the UDAT and revolver but will figger somthin out for the veggie after it’s size is established. Thanks for the heads-up. “By ALL means” will now include zucchini.

Mark

Mark, it is very kind of you to offer the bear an appetizer of zuchini before his flyfisher dinner. If both have been coated with pepper spray it should be a gourmet feast. Have a fun trip and don’t post any pictures of grizzly tonsils.

Hey Mark ,

just stuff it down your angel flights....:oops::oops:

Marco,

Will you have to register that zucchini now that they have been proven effective against a griz? Will you have to keep it locked in your vehicle or do you think they will allow open carry. Will there now be a huge rush to get them before they are outlawed and will there be a big demand for professional instructors to show folks the technique required to properly dispatch a griz using the new M-Zucchininator? I can’t wait for the 2011 model to hit the gun shows!!!

Best regards, Dave S.

I grow Zucchini in my vegetable garden. No wonder I haven’t seen any bears in my back yard.
