just wanted to say thanks for all the info on taming the whip finisher. its a great tool, now that i know how to use it
sweet, even i can’t use it though i can whip finish using my hands. now learn how to do it by hand, it will save time at the bench
Then learn how to hand whip on a size 24 Catskill style and you’ll be a magician. I use my tool almost all the time now. I don’t have delicate enough hands for it and I tie a lot of smaller sized patterns. I’m usually not in a huge rush to get done with my flies anyways. I like to drag it out as long as possible so I have something to do over the cold winter months…which happen to be coming to a close…thank the Lord.
