My daughter Anna asked me three weeks ago if I had any problems with her getting colored contacts. I fought the idea of her covering her big beautiful brown eyes with green or blue contacts. Was I naive or not clear on my questions?? I love my daughter and gave in.
I’ll show ya how to fix her. Next time you take her picture just say, "Honey, would you please look to your right? In this light, the GREEN eye is MUCH more beautiful!!!

Spin, your daughter has beautiful eyes no matter what the color.
Even tho I have a tatoo I was able to talk both of my children into not getting any. I was 19 (some 52 years ago) when I got mine, a decision I have regretted since. Its a fashion statement you will be making in your coffin. 72 year olds don’t need to be making fashion statements.
Let your daughter explore herself but draw the line at marking/piercing her body permanently.
The contact lense is temporary and can be changed at any time. I remember when my daughter had braces, she got different colored spaces everytime they changed the braces. When she turns 18, if not before, she is going to want to be a blond. I would bet you an adult beverage on it. Your children will do things you do not want them to do, you and I did also. My daughter works as a financial assistant at a hair styling school, I never know what color her hair will be or how long it will be the next time I see her.
I have all the answers, just no one is asking those questions.
If this is the worst thing she does to herself, count yourself blessed. No harm done.
The beautiful side of this is that your daughter actually asked for your opinion on the subject. Oh yes, you are blessed.
By the way, I went to high school with a girl who had three-colored eyes…one blue and the other one half green, half brown. It was freaky the first time you noticed it.
