We had super snow and tremendous drifting yesterday and last night. Cary had surgery Monday, and wasn’t able to shovel, and I can’t do it either … and here is SteveKS at our house, scooping out the drive for us! I have some of the very, VERY best friends.
Well I guess Steve does not have to be concerned about toads at his house anytime soon.
Thanks for taking care of our favorite Swamp Witch Steve.
BTW, did we get a report on the U of Mo. football player at the end of the season? Did he get redshirted, did he start, little things like that. Inquiring minds want to know.
Any time Betty, just tell Cary I want him at Douglas this spring to catch bluegills. Thanks for asking Uncle Jesse, he took a redshirt hated every minute of it but he said he learned a lot and is ready to compete for a starting spot next season.
Glad to hear he is healthy and ready to go. Tell him red shirting is the price of being on a good team with a chance to win a championship. It doesn’t take as much ability to start on a losing team.
Thanks again for taking care of Betty, it’s a little far for some of her neighbors to come clean off the snow.
AND, then again ( again), not 20 minutes after I posted the above, my snowed in neighbor called to tell me his new 95% efficiency furnace was not working. Well, being the GENIUS that I am in these and OTHER matters, I promptly went to his home and inspected the outside venting ( 2" pvc) , broke off a branch, ala Walter Mitty, from an available bush to clear the snow plug in the pipe. Like magic, he had heat. Were it a BIT earlier , I would have demanded vast quanities of fine scotch for my services. Later for that good neighbor for nuthin stuff :). BUT, since it was barely 4:00 PM, I decided to CHARGE him/collect at some time in the NEAR future.
