HUGE thank you for SteveKS!!

We had super snow and tremendous drifting yesterday and last night. Cary had surgery Monday, and wasn’t able to shovel, and I can’t do it either … and here is SteveKS at our house, scooping out the drive for us! I have some of the very, VERY best friends.

I owe you big time!! THANK YOU!!!

Way to go Steve!!!

Well I guess Steve does not have to be concerned about toads at his house anytime soon.

Thanks for taking care of our favorite Swamp Witch Steve.

BTW, did we get a report on the U of Mo. football player at the end of the season? Did he get redshirted, did he start, little things like that. Inquiring minds want to know.

Any time Betty, just tell Cary I want him at Douglas this spring to catch bluegills. Thanks for asking Uncle Jesse, he took a redshirt hated every minute of it but he said he learned a lot and is ready to compete for a starting spot next season.

Good work, Steve! I’ve got deer roast in the crock pot… You can have some if you’re here no later than 6! Haha

Betty, you and Cary do need to hit up Douglas with Steve. One evening of good fishing and I bet Cary would be hooked!

Glad to hear he is healthy and ready to go. Tell him red shirting is the price of being on a good team with a chance to win a championship. It doesn’t take as much ability to start on a losing team.

Thanks again for taking care of Betty, it’s a little far for some of her neighbors to come clean off the snow.

And then again, that’s what good neighbors are for. Good deed Mr. steveks.

You are the MAN Steve !!!

AND, then again ( again), not 20 minutes after I posted the above, my snowed in neighbor called to tell me his new 95% efficiency furnace was not working. Well, being the GENIUS that I am in these and OTHER matters, I promptly went to his home and inspected the outside venting ( 2" pvc) , broke off a branch, ala Walter Mitty, from an available bush to clear the snow plug in the pipe. Like magic, he had heat. Were it a BIT earlier , I would have demanded vast quanities of fine scotch for my services. Later for that good neighbor for nuthin stuff :). BUT, since it was barely 4:00 PM, I decided to CHARGE him/collect at some time in the NEAR future.

I thought this was interesting map.

Betty, I hope that Cary is alright, Was is a bad toad bite?

SteveKS, Good for you! Take care of Miss Betty for us AND get Cary to flip flies for some 'gills. My hat is off to you.
