For the bead sac, did you thread it on mono and attach to the underside of the hook before covering it with epoxy(?)

That’s what the pattern calls for. I can’t find my stash of Mono in that size range. Went with Beadalon instead.

That is a nice tie. I have been using them too. What I added to mine before doing the final coat of UV on the bead was a red dot using some nail polish. If you see photos of alevin, many have a blood spot on the yolk part of the egg sack. This being more of an imitative pattern I decided to add it.

If she doesn’t and you don’t want folks at the drug store check-out giving you odd looks, you could probably use a Sharpie.

I could give a rat’s rear what people think of me buying fingernail polish. I use Sally’s for head cement, and have Black, Pink, and an Olive Glitter in my stash.
