Earlier in the day…expecting a caddis hatch to come I was running an x caddis and pupae dropper. Got one take on the ex caddis. Did ok later in the day fishing nymphs. Put on a nasty hopper pattern I tie and caught a beautiful brown… After hat I was skunked. I think going smaller…tippet and fly would have helped
