I just bought a bunch of these and they are all twisted in the package. Any suggestions how to straighten these out so the look good? I thought about steaming them but am not sure what that would do to the color.
How about straightening out braided butt leader material for flies like damsel flies?

Never needed to straighten store bought zonker strips. Are you sure you bought zonker strips rather than cross cut rabbit strips?

I don’t bother, the tying process puts the rabbit where it should be, but if you really want them absolutely straight:
Dip in warm water. Lay them out straight, tacking both ends down until they dry.
For braided nylon butt material:
Stretch it between to anchors and let it stay for a few hours.
